If the pull down rubber, that fits in the slot (4), that the case rides on?
Ducati part number 96672610B. Refer to 'gommini' top case.
I lose them, and now dab some silicon glue when installing.

Gave it a try, but didn't see anything for the top case parts there. Seems to be strictly for the stock parts that came on the bike.

 

Use 3M Weatherstripping adheasive BLACK rather than silicone I think it is the proper stuff to use...Coat both surfaces and let them get tacky...

 

They are a standard Givi top box rubber. The price is the same as Ducatis, but it might help widen the options to find someone with stock.

The black metal spacers I'm talking about are the ones that are used in conjunction with screwing the top case support brackets upward into the underside of the tail section of the bike just above the rear tire.

They go between the brackets and the underside of the tail section of the bike.

There are 4 of them that came with the Ducati top case kit.

Ducati Omaha is a great resource.

I am missing one of those black round rubber pads (should be four on the rack between the rack and base of the top case) that stays on the rack with the top case removed. I may pull one off and see if my local hardware store has something similar.

Sorry Damascus I miss understood what bit you were after.

However, Wicked Webby, those rubber bungs are what I was referring to, so they are easy to get from anywhere that stocks Givi accessories, and in fact are not very expensive anyway.
search on ebay for 'givi bung' and there are a set of 4 on there now for $3.64. No idea if they are cheaper elsewhere.

I bought a spare set and put them in my tool pack, as they do tend to come out after a long trip. I think they get stuck to the top box, and unless you notice you lose them.

Yes, those are the same item for the top plate.
They are roughly the same price over here from Ducati. Its always handy to know there are options though eh

There is nothing special about the plastic spacers, but I can't see a part number fro them as my dealer doesn't have separate numbers for the arms etc, only the complete mounting kit.

 

Back to Murph's problem. I now think he is talking about a metal spacer under the rack where the long arms mount through. I would think it is still a Ducati part for the Givi system??? They are round and about 3/8" deep.

Yep, that's the part I'm looking for, and no luck so far. But you just gave me a good idea and that is to start searching different Givi sites and see if I can find it there. Thanks!
